Our Why
SNJ Botanica began at home — in the sun, on the field, and in the everyday moments of caring for my daughters.

As a single mother raising twin girls who spend long days under the Florida sun, I was searching for something simple but meaningful: skincare that could nourish, protect, and honor their sun-kissed brown skin. I wanted products that felt like care — not chemicals, not shortcuts — just honest ingredients that soothed, hydrated, and respected their bodies.

When I couldn’t find what I was looking for, we made it ourselves — drawing inspiration from the botánica, a place of healing where herbs, oils, and remedies are prepared with intention and passed down through generations.

What started as blends for scraped knees, dry skin, and tired muscles became something more. It became a lesson in generational care — showing my daughters that loving yourself means tending to your body with patience, pride, and purpose.

SNJ Botanica is a mother-daughters business in the truest sense. My girls are part of every step — from ingredient ideas and scent pairings to design choices and details that matter. Their belief in this work, their creativity, and their eye for beauty are woven into everything we make. I would not have done this without them.

Our products are handmade in small batches, using thoughtfully chosen botanicals, nourishing fats, and time-honored practices. They are meant to feel like slowing down. Like care passed from hand to hand. Like softness that lasts.

This is more than skincare.
